We have done extensive computer simulated flow testing and the trend seems to be that incoming air likes surface area. This is our attempt at gaining surface area without going up in size. The ridged inlet add almost 60% more surface area than a standard plain radius. Maintains a low profile with friction grooves cut into the side for the air filter to be clamped to. Holes have been slotted to work with OEM or Chinese carbs. If you choose to run an air filter, any 2.5” filter should work.
